Spain 2001 onwards
Spain special notes:
The hotels overlay are disgusting and without air-conditioning. People are stilling allot and some of the bars are dusty. Spanish are unwelcoming and they can throw you from the hotel that you are in.Shopping its fine and they have very nice cloths and shoes but also stilling them. The service is bad and does not have breakfasts at the hotels. Some of the Spanish are annoying you on the tables when you eat and talking to you with no regard that you are with partner or not. Generally the country its not very well promoted as tourism and some of the cities ha very dark and unpleasant arias.Film industry of Spain was well promoted during. If they see you in table they are not very helpful. We did not spend very good time in Spain really.Hotels can be very bad as in Eastern Europe. Tourism in Spain today is a major contributor to the national economic life contributing with 6.4% of Spain's and ever since 1960s and 1970s, when the country became a popular destination for summer holidays, especially with the tourists from the British Isles, Portugal, France, Central Europe and Scandinavia. That year, almost 60 million foreign visitors came to visit Spain, according to the World Tourism Organization, which has its headquarters in Madrid. Visiting the Basque mountains was a great experience for me.They are transcendental range between Cantabrian and the Pyrenees You can see there agave, pine trees and oaks as many small animals and booted eagles. You can also see some antelopes. and also some birds such as black stork and griffon vaucher. The temperature are between 5 and 18 degrees. The place are lovely and there is lots of water. The region is connected with the Basque separatists group ETA.Spain its faimouse with m I have spend around the mountains tree days. |

city of Barcelona 2002
Barcelona is one of the most fascinating cities in the world.Has distinctive architecture in Neomudejar style.I did not know allot about it to be honest before reaching there. Its the capital of Cathalunia. I was extremely surprised by the look of the city.
I was with Keith and we had some nice hotel together with good air conditioning and also nice drinks in the fridge.
On the first day we have visited Picasso museum with magnificent peaces of art from the blue and the Pink period and then we went to Gaudi park for a walk. Gaudi architect has build most fascinating buildings in Spain. They are incorporating tiles with different colors and smooth shapes on the roofs with extremely interesting and detailed work. After we went to Sagrada Familia cathedral and also the Catholic cathedral Barcelona. The food at the bars is lovely and also the port full of fish.
One of the most fantastic parts of Barcelona is the Gothic quarter.

Visiting for two days Madrid was a pleasure for me.I just went to visit the exhibitions and also went to a children painting exhibition at the city. The suburbs are rough and really unpleasant to stay in.I just eat a croissant and coffee during my two days in there.I enjoyed the center of town and to rest with people.Madrid its impressive and lavishly decorated.Never to forget to visit the traditional cafes.
